Farm Fresh Challenge

Farm Fresh Challenge
This year, our Devers Child Nutrition Department proudly participated in the Farm Fresh Challenge! We embraced farm-to-table learning by growing bean sprouts in a jar, serving local honey, zucchini, squash, apples, and fresh milk.  Students enjoyed a fun coloring contest, grew their own herbs, and learned about healthy eating from a Registered Dietitian.  It was a wonderful way to celebrate local produce and nutrition education! #FarmFreshTexas #FarmFreshChallenge #TexasAgricultureMatters
