Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Devers Independent School District to provide an environment that will enable all students to learn. All Devers ISD personnel will nurture each student so they may be empowered with a positive self-image and desire to be a life-long learner. To achieve this goal Devers ISD will provide a flexible curriculum of English, Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Fine Arts, Health, Physical Education, and Computer Literacy. The curriculum will be taught in an environment that will promote citizenship and develop an appreciation of our common American heritage including its multicultural richness. Multi sensory teaching strategies will be used so that students of all learning styles will be addressed and given the opportunity to achieve academic success.
